The Dukedom of Dollet
|
|
Canonical
Dollet used to control lands covering most of the Galbadia continent. Their control of the region was lost due to fighting with Galbadia during the Sorceress War. Present day Dollet is a port city separated from the mainland by towering coastal cliffs. Though it is a dukedom, the parliament holds the political power.
Game Locations

Sowing the SeeDs
Dollet has maintained its 'refined' society despite the insults it has suffered at Galbadia's hands. As the only coastal city in easter Galbadia with a nearby train station, many imported good from around the world pass through its port. Because it is a major shipping hub the law enforcement officials are always on the lookout for smuggling and other illegal activities.

Timber
|
|
Canonical
Since the Sorceress War, Timber has been fighting Galbadia. After Timber was occupied resistance factions began popping up like wildflowers in a field. It's jokingly said that every citizen of Timber is a member of a resistance group. Besides being (in)famous for its defiant spirit, Timber has a television station, is the Galbadia continent endpoint of the Horizons Bridge, and is the major train hub in the eastern Galbadia.
Game Locations
Timber (capital)
Sowing the SeeDs
There are conflicting reasons behind Galbadia's take over of the region depending upon who you ask. According to those biased towards Timber, Vinzer Deling was using the Sorceress War as an excuse to go on a land grab. From Galbadia's point of view, Timber was not doing enough to secure its end of the Horizons Bridge against the possibility of an Esthar invasion via that route, and so they did it themselves. Prior to the War, Timber was incorporating the independent countries around the Lake Obel region. Timber was also the location of Myn and Nym's field exam.

Not all people abandoned Centra during the great migration. A clan of people called the Anshin stayed behind and worked the land until it was once again habitable. The land they reside on does not belong to them, they belong to it. The Anshin are an isolationist (to the point of xenophobic) people who prefer to be forgotten by those in the north.
